I Am Amazing, and strong, and brave, and wonderful.
Repeat daily, hourly even. We are amazing people and you should never let anyone tell you differently. The things we encounter or go through do not define who we are. We have the ability to define ourselves, despite our past and traumas.
It is a really good feeling to realize that we are in control of our present. We don’t need to be defined by our pasts, and we don’t need to be worried about the future. The present is where we are and where we need to. Learning to be present in the present is a great asset to healing.
It’s not easy, then again nothing to do with healing is easy. Yet it is very rewarding. Freeing. Learning to accept the present you is where we start to make peace with ourselves. It is in learning to all our flaws and live life in its fullest potential that we can appreciate who we are in the present.
So find a mantra of your own. And if you don’t have one, then you can use this above. Say it everyday. Several times a day if you need to. Say it until you start to believe it about it yourself, because it is true: You are amazing!
